How It Works
-
Choose up to 10 guests to be interviewed.
-
We quietly set up in a low-traffic spot while guests dine or mingle. No cables, no footprint, no timeline conflicts, and no energy needed from your planner or vendors.
-
Each guest shares a story or memory in a relaxed 5-minute conversational interview. Professionally directed, gently paced, and never rushed.
-
We edit the interviews into a 7–10 minute thoughtfully paced sequence that you’ll cherish forever.
-
You'll receive a private link to your finished video. Easy to watch, download, and share with anyone.
The Spoken Toast is fully self-contained without any extra effort on your part. Indoor or outdoor, we quietly set up and film beautiful interviews during the reception. No disruption. No cables. No power needs. Zero setup on your part. Think of this as a cinematic photobooth.
We work independently, respectfully, and behind the scenes, so you can focus on the flow, not one more moving piece.

FAQ
Does this replace our videographer or photographer?
Not at all. We encourage couples to hire a photographer and videographer to capture the actual wedding day.
Will it disrupt our timeline?
Not even a little. We film quietly in a low-traffic area, usually after dinner, speeches, and well outside the main event flow.
Is this like a video booth or DIY guest message kiosk?
Not even close. Those setups usually involve tablets, poor lighting, and tacky shout outs. Plus, couples usually have to manage the setup and return the equipment themselves. The footage is often uneven and forgettable.
When does filming happen?
Typically during a 2-hour window later in the reception, after formalities like dinner or speeches. We find the right moment that fits naturally with your flow, no timeline conflicts, no stress.
How long are the interviews?
Around 5 minutes per guest. Enough time for real stories to emerge without feeling formal or too long to keep them away from the celebration.
Can we choose what questions are asked?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to suggest specific themes or topics ahead of time, or let us guide it. Many couples enjoy being surprised by what their loved ones choose to share.
Will this interfere with our photographer or videographer?
Definitely not. We don’t film the wedding or cover any traditional wedding photo/video territory. We set up in a separate, low-traffic space without disruption to anyone’s workflow.
Can we get the raw footage too?
We don’t deliver raw interviews. They include off-camera prompts and aren’t meant to stand alone.
Instead, we focus on creating a complete story that flows beautifully and feels intentional from start to finish.
Do you work with all wedding types and sizes?
Yes. From large weddings to elopements and micro-weddings, The Spoken Toast adapts easily. If you have meaningful voices in the room, we can help tell your story.
Is this just for weddings?
We also create Spoken Toasts for rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, anniversaries, and more. Wherever stories are shared, we can capture them.
How long is the final film and how is it delivered?
A 7–10 minute film built entirely from professionally filmed guest interviews. It’s full of honest, heartfelt stories from the people who shared the day with you. You’ll receive a private link to a digital gallery where you can view, download, and share your video.
How many guests can we include?
Up to 10 guests. Anyone you want to hear from. It’s just the right number to create something meaningful and beautifully paced.
